Very courteous and helpful staff. Hotel restaurants are worth a visit with a good standard of cuisine. Ideal location for Covent Garden and theatre land.

The week we were there it was really warm. Missed having an air conditioner to help cool off. This hotel is located in a good spot. It is not too far from most of the major attractions, and you can walk to them.

Ideally located in the centre of London for attractions such as Covent Gardens, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Theatreland. However, it must be remembered that the Strand Palace Hotel is situated on The Strand, which is a very busy London street - during both the day and night, so this might not be the ideal location for residents who are looking for a quiet retreat at the end of the day. The staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful, and their doormen are very knowledgeable about local attractions, directions and transportation details.
Top Tip
There are dozens of local pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafe's and take-aways, catering for a whole range of tastes - English, Italian, Greek, Chinese and Lebanese, to name but a few, and certainly far too many eateries to be able to eat in them all during a single visit to London.

Only a three star hotel, but aims to be more by having a friendly but effective approach to customers
Top Tip
Very good for theatres with plenty of places to eat/drink and Covent Garden on the doorstep!
