Wonderfully located near Hyde Park and Green Park, within walking distance of Harrod's and Piccadilly Circus, Fleming’s Mayfair is one of the most consistently well reviewed hotels in London. Guests do comment that the bar/restaurant area is in need of an upgrade, but otherwise they praise the quality of accommodation and friendly efficiency of the staff.
Built in 1730, the Flemings Mayfair Hotel occupies a beautiful Georgian townhouse set in exclusive Mayfair and is an island of peaceful elegance amidst the hustle and bustle of London's West End. Upon entering, the lounge evokes the grand reception rooms of a more graceful age. Fine architectural details and original paintings combine with stylish and comfortable furniture to recreate the Salon of an English country house. These are the perfect surroundings in which to start the day over a breakfast coffee and newspaper, or to meet friends and associates before a sumptuous dinner in the beautifully appointed restaurant. The 119 equally well appointed guestrooms offer discreet style and complete comfort. Each of the rooms is decorated and furnished to the highest standard to help ensure a pleasant stay in delightful surroundings. In the en suite bathrooms gleaming Italian ceramic wall tiles offset the Carrara marble surfaces to stunning effect.
From freshly baked croissants and delicious Danish pastries to fresh fruit and a selection of cheeses, the breakfast buffet at the Bodeca Restaurant has something for everyone. The restaurant also serves international cuisine for dinner from 5.30pm every day. In the Bodeca Bar guests can relax into a comfortable armchair and let the world pass by as they savour the luxury of a traditional afternoon tea, or upgrade to a champagne afternoon tea for that truly decadent experience.
